sitting alone on a monday morning
i last saw you on friday after school
my mind is off and my stomach is turning
i wanna ask if i can ride my bike with you
then i saw you over there (i don’t know if i can)
and i knew what i had to do (so scared to talk to you)
just this time (we’ll ride our bikes)
and just one more time (down through the park)
adjust this time (i’ll kiss you and)
and get some more time (we’ll stay till dark)
then i saw you over there (i don’t know if i can)
and i knew what i had to do (so scared to talk to you)
then i saw you over there (i don’t care if im scared)
and i knew what i had to do (i’ve gotta talk to you)

I have several problems with a member of this band, so I'm disinclined to like this album. However, exceptional music speaks for itself, and this album really is exceptional, from the guitar work to the vocals to the production. As painful as it is for me to write these words, this is among the best releases of the year and firmly belongs in the collection of anyone who cares about contemporary indiepop. Michael Feck

An Indiepop gem, filled with infectious grooves which occasionally delves into Blondie terroritory, ala Burn Us Down. Love this album and already looking forward to what's lies ahead. Mike Delejewski
